First term highlights at Meadows View – Daisies Class (Autumn 2025)

Daisies Class voted their hands-on experiments as their term highlights! The children have loved a jam packed term full of hands-on learning, creativity, and plenty of “wow” moments as they explored via their “World About Me (Science/Geography) Curriculum” through fun and engaging activities.

The children became mini geologists as they designed and created their very own volcanoes using paper mache. They carefully built the structures, allowed them to dry, and then painted them with fantastic imagination and attention to detail. The highlight came when it was time for the big experiment — using white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to make the volcanoes erupt! The fizzing, bubbling explosions were met with huge excitement and lots of smiles..

It has truly been a fantastic term, full of discovery, creativity, and joyful learning. Well done, Daisies Class — what a brilliant term 🌟
