Welcome to Meadows View
We are a warm and welcoming independent special school in Stamford, Lincolnshire, supporting children aged 4–11 with autism and associated additional needs.
At Meadows View, knowing the child comes first. We take the time to understand how each child communicates, learns, regulates, connects with others and experiences the world around them. From this understanding, we create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can be themselves, develop their confidence and thrive.
Our close-knit team includes teachers, support staff, leaders and therapists, who work together as one team around each child. Our therapeutic expertise is woven into everyday school life, ensuring that education, communication, wellbeing and therapeutic needs are considered together through our Integrated Therapeutic Curriculum.
Our bespoke Integrated Therapeutic curriculum is shaped around the individual needs, starting points, interests and aspirations of our children. To inform the various pathways, we draw on Development Matters, elements of the National Curriculum and the PSHE Association Planning Framework for SEND learners and aspects of the Equals curriculum, to provide a meaningful and appropriately challenging learning journey for every child. This allows us to celebrate progress that may look different for every pupil, while ensuring that learning remains purposeful and ambitious.
Our five values sit at the heart of everything we do:
Be Safe. Be Honest. Be Brave. Be Kind. Grow Together.
These are more than words on a wall. They shape how we teach, how we build relationships, how we support one another and how we approach challenges. We want our children to feel safe enough to be themselves, brave enough to try, honest enough to communicate their needs, kind enough to care for others and confident that they can continue to grow.
We celebrate every child as an individual and recognise that progress can take many forms. Whether it is developing communication, gaining independence, building relationships, mastering a new skill or simply having the confidence to try something new, every achievement matters.
At Meadows View, we believe every child has potential. Our role is to understand that potential, nurture it and provide the right environment, relationships and opportunities for each child to flourish.
